Mitzi Krockover, MD
Dr. Mitzi Krockover brings decades of pioneering leadership in women's health to her work at Woman Centered. Understanding that health and healthcare extend far beyond traditional medical settings, she champions an expansive approach that addresses clinical expertise, policy, research, and innovation.
As an internist and prominent voice in women's health, Dr. Krockover's distinguished career includes serving as Founding Medical Director of the Iris Cantor-UCLA Women's Health Center—designated a Center of Excellence in Women's Health by the Department of Health and Human Services. She later advanced women's health initiatives as Vice President of Women's Health at Humana Inc.
Today, Dr. Krockover focuses on accelerating innovation in women's health through strategic investment and mentorship of femtech entrepreneurs. Her work supports visionary founders, particularly women driven by personal experience to create transformative healthcare solutions for other women.

Equity, advocacy and service are important to Dr. Krockover. She is a member of the boards of the Black Women's Health Imperative and the Institute of Mental Health Research. She also serves on Springboard's Women's Health Innovation Council, the Women's Health Innovation Equity Forum, the leadership committee of Women's Health Advocates, and as an ambassador for HITLab's Women's Health program.

Dr. Krockover brings this wealth of expertise to Woman Centered, where she advises organizations, speaks on women's health and womens' health innovation, and leads initiatives to advance healthcare transformation. Her mission to improve women's health and wellbeing informs her approach to health care delivery, technology and policy. She strongly believes that improving women's health is good for everyone and this belief motivates her work in multiple environments including corporations, startups, healthcare systems, government, academia and non-profits.
